Then, consider this position, as an IT project manager in the Asset Business Transformation unit.
The team Asset Business Transformation is part of Vattenfall IT and the team’s main purpose is to support and enable the digital transformation within the Vattenfall asset driven business areas (eg Wind, Hydro, Heat and Distribution). Vattenfall IT is the internal IT full-service provider serving the entire Vattenfall Group. As a full-service IT provider, our goal is to excel in delivering efficient IT services and solutions. We are more than 1000 employees located in the Nordics (Sweden, Finland & Denmark), Germany, the Netherlands, UK and Poland.
The role
The IT Project Managers in the Asset Business Transformation team lead projects of various natures and sizes, specifically targeting our asset intense business areas (eg Wind, Hydro, Heat and Distribution). You will work in close cooperation with the business as a partner and be part of realizing strategically important projects.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Manage IT projects/programs from pre-study through development to production GoLive.
• Grasp the project value, timeframe and deliverables from the point of view of our business area.
• Be the interface between the business unit and the rest of Vattenfall IT.
• Coordinate interactions between different stakeholders.
• Plan, execute, follow-up, and deliver projects according to or above expectations.
• Support and master the Vattenfall IT tools and ways of working and ensure adherence to Vattenfall standards and instructions.
We are looking for you with
• A relevant bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• About 10 years of work experience in IT and project management.
• Relevant certifications (IPMA, Prince2, PMP etc.) and experience with Project Management Methodologies (PROPS etc.) as well as agile methodologies.
• A genuine interest in the energy business and its current developments.
• The ability to work independently and navigate a large organization with multiple interests and stakeholders.
• A strong drive to improve IT systems and IT-infrastructure for increased business value.
• Fluency in English (writing/speaking), Swedish is a merit.

Location: Solna (Sweden) Some travel to other Vattenfall sites as well as international travel required.
