Senior IT Test Managers for Financial Anti-Crime

We are looking for two Senior Test Managers who are recognized as genuine experts within one or more test areas. You will drive the continuous improvement of our IT testing for applications in the Financial Anti-Crime (FAC) domain, a highly prioritized focus area.

The position we offer

As a Senior IT Test Manager you have responsibility for identifying and defining required test cases based on requirements, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Target Test Items. The Senior IT Test Manager is also responsible for the core activities of the test effort, which involves planning and resource allocation of the test team.

You identify the most appropriate implementation approach for any given test plan based on the Nordea test standards and methods.
You plan and coordinate the test work and define set up, execute and monitor tests and you log test results and report on test execution.
You manage test data and maintain test environments in cooperation with the IT Environment Specialist and you analyse all types of requirements i.e. functional, non-functional and technical.
You analyse, evaluate and document defects and evaluate test result conducted in each test cycle and you ensure the appropriate planning and management of the test resources and assess the progress and effectiveness of the test effort.

You will ensure support and training of the test team and act as driver of development and maintenance of test tools and methods. You will be responsible for the internal communication in the test team as well as co-operation with the IT Environment specialist, the Deployment Manager, DevOps Manager and relevant Project Managers.

FAC Systems? mission is to prevent and fight financial crime. As a unit, part of Group Functions IT, we are responsible for developing and maintaining the AML and Fraud monitoring platforms which constitute Nordea?s primary defence against money-laundering, counter terrorist financing and fraud activities.

The qualifications you need

You enjoy working in a high-performing team, setting high standards and you have the ability and willingness to learn and grow together with the unit. You must have professional knowledge and at least 5 years experience in Test Management and a plus if you have a certification in the test area, eg, ISTQB.

You may have a background as an IT Analyst or IT Developer. Knowledge and experience of the Systems Development Lifecycle, including both traditional and Agile methods, is required.

Previous experience with testing tools, for example QC or Jira is an advantage as well as having implemented Test process improvement using metrics. Experience of banking is highly merited, as well as knowledge about common payment models, eg, SEPA, SWIFT. Experience with Financial Anti-crime or Fraud applications, eg, BAE Systems Netreveal, FICO will be a major plus.

You have a relevant Bachelors or a Master's degree and you are fluent in English. Fluency in Swedish is highly merited. You are ideally situated in Stockholm, location in one of the other Nordic capitals may be considered. Travelling within the Nordic region is occasionally required.
