Senior Java Backend Developer

Our main product, Lequinox® platform, is designed to help companies set interaction rules to manage access control, identity, roles and apps, digital signing, traceability and archiving. Companies using Lequinox platform have assurance that their processes respond to their core business values, business policies and compliance requirements. Lequinox platform easily integrates into applications, online services and critical processes that require traceability, authentication and integrity.

To meet the challenges, we need help. We know that we need to improve the quality as well as deliver new functionality. We will also need to do this in a sustainable way. We are convinced that software craftsmanship is the way to go for sustainability. It will help us ensure that the technology we deliver works as it should. As well as make sure we want to come to work every day and have fun.

We are looking for new colleagues who are as dedicated to craftsmanship as we are. People who are prepared to work on transforming both the team and the technology to go in line with this. We are hoping to find people at all levels, from apprentices to masters. Our main focus is on the more senior level. This is to make sure we have capacity to deal with the juniors when we start to bring them in.

We are especially hoping to attract people who have experience from TDD, BDD, full test automation, spec tests and DevOps. If you have worked in XP teams and want to share that experience this is very appreciated. We also look especially for people who are versed in DDD.

Our technology stack spans everything from backend to web applications and thick clients. The backend is currently built using Java and JavaEE technologies with a relational database. The web is done using AngularJS but with some JSP traces still.

As we are growing the team we will also make sure to create an environment where we learn things continuously. We currently run a brown bag lunch where we work with code katas, talk about technical problems, design and patterns or watch interesting talks from conferences. Again there is much room for change and good ideas and initiatives are more than welcome. We are just starting to build this and want to make the best of it.
