Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Java developer who can design, implement document and test, users and system requirements. If you have hands-on experience developing software with agile methodologies, we would like to meet you. Welcome, to apply to the role of Senior Java Developer for P2 Manufacturing Systems.
The position is permanent, based in Lund (Hybrid: On-Site/Remote).
What you will do
Global Information Management (Global IM) which supports the Tetra Pak Group with cost efficient and secure IT services. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak’s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its Customers.
You will be part of the Manufacturing Systems team, a global team that develop, improve and supports Tetra Pak’s own Manufacturing Execution System P2, as well as Processing simulation and equipment dimensioning application, among others.
You will focus on
Analyse business and systems demands for P2 application
Analyse and resolve immediate issues with the application
Design changes/new functionality to be implemented in the system using adopted standards of manufacturing systems
Develop and test components, ensuring that written code falls in line with manufacturing systems standards
Create and maintain documentation
Create and execute unit tests
Support QA team with Function and Regression test when needed
We believe you have
To be successful in the role you have 3 - 5 years’ experience from similar roles. You have a university degree in Computing Science and experience in programming in Java and/or Linux. You have an analytic approach, and you consider yourself to be a problem-solver. You like to learn new things and you are curious and comfortable with learning new tools and systems.
We believe that you are a person with an agile but structured mindset. Collaboration is important to you. You are open-minded and responsive to new people, ideas, and situations. If you have knowledge within GIT/Jenkins/Spring Boot and/or Bitbucket it is beneficial.
