We are now looking for a
Senior Lab Engineer
At Battery Competence Center in Husqvarna, we have a laboratory specializing in testing of batteries. With a team of 7 highly skilled engineers, we are dedicated to advancing battery technology and ensuring the reliability and safety of the batteries. As the increasingly demand for efficient and sustainable power solutions continues to grow, our mission is to provide accurate and comprehensive testing services that support Husqvarna's battery powered products
The laboratory department is at a growing phase right now to meet the demand of our services which in terms mean that you will have a great deal in shaping the way we work. We also encourage you to reshape the traditional lab engineer template and you will have a lot of interactions with other departments in an international context.
The position is based in Huskvarna.
The role
As a Senior Lab Engineer specializing in battery testing, you will play a pivotal role in our laboratory, contributing to the development and execution of comprehensive testing procedures for various types of batterie. The work task has a wide variety and spans over several disciplines. But below are some key points of how your day might look like. - Develop new test methods for battery testing - Work with improvement project within the team - Purchase and development of new equipment's, including both software and hardware. - Develop new test specifications, execute them, analyzing the result and finalize by writing test reports
Who are you
We are looking for a person with drive, curiosity, flexibility and the ability to work well with a team. We do also see that you have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or any other related field. It is a big advantages if you have prior experience in the field of battery technology and/or battery testing. Fluent in English is a must as you will have a great deal of international interactions.
