Senior Lead Electric Motor Control specialist

We are putting together a team to build a new innovative product that will excite the market. You will be part of a new team to develop a product that the market has never seen before. You will be the senior lead VFD and power electronics specialist in a global market-leading company project.

Your profile should include the following:

- Deep-knowledge of 3-phase motors; both induction motors and permanent magnet synchronous motors
- Experience with Design/implementation of the motor control part of a variable-frequency drive (VFD)
- Broad knowledge of implementing various PWM schemes
- Development and testing of control algorithms for a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor
- Experience in testing motor and electronics for EMI and EMC
- Working knowledge of embedded firmware development in C
- Experience using reference design from Infineon, NXP or similar
- Experience in using Matlab/Simulink during design/development and testing
- Proficiency with automated electrical/electronic design tools (Altium, OrCAD, PADs, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Industrial controls, analogue and digital I/O, communications protocols such as Modbus or Profibus
- Working knowledge of power electronics
- M.Sc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- You should have excellent communication skills, and it is desirable that you have experience from working in agile teams
