We are growing and are looking for a Senior Lead Java Developer to help us create the bank’s future digital solutions for wealth management products such as investment funds, discretionary mandates, ISK and more. This is an opportunity for you to work with the well known technologies in Java, React and microservices when building financial solutions for one of the biggest banks in Europe.

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join the Integration & Core Development team within Nordea’s Asset & Wealth Management organization, where we are responsible for developing and supporting Nordea’s fund distribution, ISK, IPS, discretionary portfolio management and statements for customer investments.
What you’ll be doing:
* You will take on the role as Java Lead in a scrum team working on Nordeas platform for Fund Distribution
* We practice Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE) and your future scrum team is part of a release train within Wealth Management.
* Developing new and existing financial solutions in Java using framework and technologies such as microservices, REST, React
* Be a role model and inspire rest of team, ensuring we adopt development best practices
* You will be a sparring partner to analysts, architects and other specialists within the fund distribution area
* Contribute with input around development best practices, design and implementation
* Working with unit testing and other test automation techniques such as Mockito, Hamcrest and Junit
Keep track of the latest trends to learn from existing best practices in software development constantly ensuring professional development
The role is based in Stockholm, however Nordea is applying a hybrid work model which lets you do part of the work from home. This is going to continue also after the pandemic.
