See full ad: http://www8.umu.se/umu/aktuellt/arkiv/lediga_tjanster/312-272-10.html We are recruiting a senior lecturer in science education with a special responsibility as research leader within UMSER - Umeå University Science Education Research.The announced position includes up to 50% time for own research through 2014.A PhD student, a research assistant and a postdoc will be employed and the appointed researcher will have a strong influence in these recruitments.For more information about UMSER please see www.matnv.umu.se/forskning/index_umser.html Umeå School of Education Starting January 1, 2009, teacher education and research in the educational sciences are organized through Umeå School of Education (USE) which has been commissioned by the university board to organize 1) education within teacher education, special education, counselling and guidance and the national head teacher-training programme, 2) a research school for doctoral training in the educational sciences, and 3) research in the educational sciences.The role of the person who has this position is to be an active research leader in science education and to contribute significantly to the further development and expansion of Umeå University as a strong centre in the scientific area by complementing and adding to the existing strengths.
