The job
You’re an important member of the SRP legal team reporting to the VP and Business Area General Counsel, focusing on a range of strategic and commercial matters within the Business Area. You co-ordinate legal work in our sales areas around the globe as well as work alongside our business with supporting and advising functions across the organization around the world.
Additionally, you manage a variety of commercial agreements, negotiations, legal documents, correspondence and governance, and you support the business with legal training, processes and tools. You also contribute with your legal skills and input in M&As and investments which is a key target for our Business Area, and looking ahead, there are many more interesting tasks and projects for you as we develop and grow our business in other key areas such as the digital space and AI.

You're preferably located at our headquarters in Malmö (Hyllie) or in Stockholm, however, working from one of our units in Finland or UK are possible. Some global travel will also be included in your job from time to time.

Your character
You hold a Swedish (Jur. Kand), Finnish or UK Law degree and extensive work experience from both a reputable business law firm and preferably experience within a corporate in-house legal organization. You’ve got the confidence and the will to act independently and are very interested in deepening your knowledge of our market and the legal landscape that we’re navigating in. Experience within M&A and other cross-border transactions, commercial agreements, general corporate law and IP & digitalization are advantageous for the role.
Any previous contact with legal matters connected to cross border transactions, M&A, R&D and sourcing, commercial litigation, digital and IT, compliance such as trade and ABC as well as previous experience in industrial sectors, such as construction and mining sectors, will be considered as a merit and are a big plus. Working and instructing external legal counsel around the globe will be part of your role. Working in a global setting, you also need excellent communication skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is very beneficial.
You’re solution-oriented and can easily adapt to different situations, all this accompanied with a genuine service attitude. You enjoy a setting where new perspectives and innovation are appreciated, and you take initiatives and search for improvements. With a practical, structured and detailed mindset, you’re able to prioritize and multitask and you have what it takes to move forward and get things done. To gain trust is key in your job, and you build strong relations and offer legal advice based on sound judgment and thorough business understanding.
