An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer to join the Legal Affairs team guiding and supporting the Plant Automation, Embedded Automation, and Information Systems dimension of our business.
The Legal Affairs function is headed up by the Tetra Pak Group General Counsel who leads a team of world class senior lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and corporate governance and risk management professionals.
Automation and Information Systems is an area within Tetra Pak with significant growth plans and you will support the organization globally responsible for developing, sourcing, manufacturing, selling/licensing, delivering and maintaining high quality, automation and information solutions for our customers as well as information systems for Tetra Pak's internal use.
The position will report to a Vice-President, Legal Affairs and be based in Lund, Sweden.
Main responsibilities
-Advising stakeholders on complex legal and business risks
-Planning, drafting and negotiating local and international development, supply, sales and licensing contracts
-Advising on issues which arise in the course of supplier management activities (eg. claims, disputes, intellectual property rights, software purchase and licensing, competition law, export control and other regulatory issues)
-Helping to develop and implement policies, processes, template agreements, checklists and other tools
-Training and developing business colleagues
-Helping to select, manage and develop external legal advisers
-Facilitating close teamwork with other members of the Legal Affairs team.
Qualifications
You are a highly skilled and professional individual with a law degree from a Swedish university. You have a minimum of 5 years' experience working for a leading law firm and/or in-house in a multinational or international business of comparable size. In-house experience is an advantage and eexperience in intellectual property rights, including software and licensing, and competition law is preferred.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting skills.
As a person you are a driven, energetic, well-organized and a resourceful self-starter. You manage the ability to make clear, timely and well-reasoned decisions with attention to detail while remaining focused on the "big picture". You are practical, persuasive and a team-player, capable of balancing dual roles in a global legal team and in relevant business teams. You have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
