Our Challenge
Volvo Cars is on an exciting journey towards carbon neutrality 2040, do you want to contribute? We are an engaged and committed team within Sustainability Centre, working with carbon footprint and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) focused on our vehicles. If you have long experience in working with LCA and carbon footprints, preferable within the automotive area and are ready to take a new step in your career? This is the chance for you!

What you’ll do
As a Senior Life Cycle Assessment Engineer you will work with developing methodology, putting LCA into practice, guide sustainable system and component development, competence building activities around LCA etc. You will guide us in how to increase the quality of our assessments, and how to do them more automated. Furthermore, you will make analyses, interpret results, draw conclusions, communicate results in a compelling and pedagogical way and guide the organisation in making our next cars even more sustainable. The work with include collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Skills
You have gained excellent competence in energy and environmental systems analyses through a solid carrier within the field, maybe combined with a PhD. In addition you will need at least a couple of years within Life Cycle Assessment/Carbon Footprint. You have also experience from cost-benefit-analysis, meritorious would be knowledge of product systems for components in our cars.

You are a structured team player always focusing on the solutions, keeping a pragmatic and holistic view on the way towards the goal. You are a strong communicator with a high drive to deliver. You enjoy interacting with people and understand that collaboration will be key to make real impact.
