We are now looking for an Experienced/Senior Linux System Engineer to evolve and ensure the evolution of one of Ericsson’s most exciting and disruptive products: Industry Connect.
This role will report to the Advanced Industries Development Manager.
You will
Drive strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis and requirements handling
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Drive continuous improvements of products
Develop competence in technical domain
To be successful in the role you must have
Solid and extensive experience with Linux System Administration
Demonstrated knowledge of one of the following distributions: - SUSE - CentOS/Red Hat
Strong network understanding
Linux kernel network stack (XDP would be beneficial)
Advanced Routing and Switching knowledge (including VIPs)
Network application development experience
DPDK Applications
Throughput intensive applications
Scripting skills, preferrably Python
Preferred additional requirements
Kubernetes
Experience with cluster setup and configuration as well as deployment of workloads
Deployment of workloads with Helm
Container creation
Kubernetes CNI networks experience
Saltstack experience
Microservices architecture experience
DevOps exposure
Full stack understanding
Performance analysis and tuning experience
Useful experience and knowledge
Git and Gitlab
CI/CD & Jenkins
