Senior M&A and Portfolio Manager

Role description
As Senior Portfolio Manager you will be a part of a small core team, essential in bringing E.ON to a leading role in the energy transition. We are focused on developing E.ON's Nordic businesses portfolios and facilitate inorganic activities such as acquisitions, joint ventures and divestments. The role will provide you a great opportunity to develop your understanding of what drives value and risk from a business perspective. Your role is to guide and to be a confident advisor to management and stakeholders in order to implement projects with high quality and deliver within deadlines.

Within Mergers & Acquisitions Nordics you will be responsible for taking active part in the department's assignments such as:
* Setting up and leading internal and external project teams with a high-performance standard to execute transactions
* Preparing and presenting business cases to senior management and the Group
* External contacts within the industry and advisors
* Strategic assessment of the Nordic company portfolio including JVs
* Supporting E.ON's business with value enhancing competence in investment proposals and business cases including financial valuations
* Ad-hoc analysis of business segments, projects, costs, investments etc based on business need


The role is preferably located in Malmö, but Stockholm could also be a possibility for the right candidate.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in the position we think it is important that you have several years of experience from working with similar tasks within M&A. A large part of the role involves stakeholder management and the ability to build trusting relationships is therefore an important quality. We are looking for you who have an education or senior experience within finance or legal. Since you will be leading projects you need to be confident in running projects and transactions independently and communicating with people across cultural and organizational boundaries. We believe that you are good at dealing with stressful situations in a calm way, are unpretentious and used to working with people in leading positions.

You will be a part of a team that is driving the energy transition with passion. You will report to David Harbeke who is Head of Finance. His leadership is characterized by openness and trust, and he is an advocate of transparency. It's important for David that you are driven by working independently given high responsibilities and freedom to act, that's easy for you to prioritize and that you have a collaborative mindset.
