Our Exciting Opportunity
We’re seeking applicants for Ericsson’s corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) function. The M&A function is a global function responsible to drive all Ericsson M&A activities from strategy/sourcing to execution, integration and follow-up across all Ericsson Business Areas, Market Areas and Group Functions. In this position you need to have a combination of excellent analytical skills (strategic, financial and operational), be result oriented and capable of handling both Ericsson internal and external partners. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, but the work is mostly project oriented and the applicant must be prepared to travel with the projects when so required.
You will
M&A strategy development incl. market & technology evaluations, value chain assessments and strategy definitions
M&A target funnel development and management incl. target desktop screening, alternatives analysis etc
Initiating dialogue including cold calling on potential targets
Creation of investment analysis and M&A decision materials for CEO/CFO and Board of Directors decisions
Creation of sell side materials Teasers and Investment Memorandums
Preparations for and running of due diligence, negotiations and other external and internal M&A project meetings
M&A valuations
To be successful in the role you must have
Education: MSc, MBA or similar with outstanding grades
Professional experience: 6-8 years in relevant M&A roles
Mentorship of graduates and juniors
Project management
Stakeholder management.
Languages: Excellent English in writing and verbal
