Senior Mac Engineer

The role


The Senior Mac Engineer will take a proactive lead in design activities, projects and the resolution of major MacOS related issues and improvements. You will be a strong advocate in promoting best practices and training as well as providing guidance to less experienced members of the team. The Senior Mac Engineer will motivate and act as mentor to co-workers, proactively sharing knowledge and ideas. The ability to think fast and handle a challenging workload is a key component of success in this role.

What You Will Do
Administration, support and provisioning of MacOS devices
Application management
Manage, maintain, and evolve enterprise client management systems VMware Workspace ONE, Intune
Test and validate new hardware
Responsible for client device hardening, as well as maintaining patching and compliance

Your Experience
Knowledge of MacOS at an advanced or expert level
Knowledge of VMware Workspace ONE at an advanced or expert level
Experience with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and Office 365
Experience with Microsoft Intune
Proficient in one or more modern, general purpose scripting languages (ex: Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Ability to research and analyze information technology problems, issues, and project requirements
Ability to deliver projects, working independently, writing technical documentation, communicate with stakeholders
