We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Technical Team in Kedali Sweden.
Kedali is one of world’s largest manufacturer of casings for lithium-ion batteries and operates within different segments of the battery industry and as the strategic partner of Northvolt here in Skellefteå.
A Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance of equipment, machinery and manufacturing facilities and helps troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical problems when they arise. Maintenance Technician responsible for planning and implementing equipment maintenance, modification, and installation. Troubleshoot equipment problems, perform basic repairs, coordinate with managers or engineers, and conduct regular maintenance checks. Operating and calibrating machinery, adhering to product guidelines.
Main tasks include but are not limited to:
Ensure high-efficiency production of machines related to cans production.
Operating and calibrating machinery, adhering to product guidelines.
Training new workforce members.
Follow Standard Operation Procedure to carry out the job. Keep job pace.
Follow job requirements to do machine patrol inspection, product self-inspection, record production quantity, and report abnormality, if any.
Strive to meet production targets to fulfill the production plan.
Responsible for equipment management, daily maintenance, and preventive maintenance. Implement monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance for responsible machines.
Implement maintenance planning & scheduling for responsible machines.
Ensure all the planned maintenance tasks are implemented.
Assist in improving equipment efficiency and performance. Responsible for machine debugging and failure root cause analysis.
Participate in optimization of fixtures, electrical, and PLC control. Responsible for machine installation, modification, and commissioning
Responsible for solving machine failures at the production site and keeping relevant records as required.
Able to complete maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification work under pressure, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues in the technical department or other departments.
Competence and experience:
Engineering degree and/or applicable experience.
Experience in maintenance/engineering in the production environment.
Mechanical engineering background preferably.
English conversation ability.
Hard-working, honest, strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to communicate, an outgoing personality.

Contract duration: 6 months with possibility of extension.
