In this role you are responsible to manage Group Shipping Services, business coordination related to Europe export market, to coordinate Business Operations functions within / across the regions, manage short-term tonnage planning and support Trade teams to execute best performance.
Job Requirements:
Accountabilities:
Cooperate with Fleet Portfolio & Chartering, Trade teams & Business Operations East Business Coordination to drive Short term tonnage plan (3 months), fulfilling Customer and Product requirements
Engage with and facilitate between FP&C, Business coordination in Business Operations East and Each trade team to ensure optimal working and operational performance
Ensure efficient Import (coastal) and Transshipment operations
Consolidate and Generate reports and material (BI)
HMG Imports
Analyze Business Operations performance and initiate improvements
Voyage closing, calculations and P&L, consolidation of result, Freight collection (S/C)
Drive and Implement digitization efforts and use of data in decision making
Manage a remote team of colleagues
KPI’s:
Group tonnage balance & utilization
Transshipment management
Business performance analysis

Skills and Experience:
Deep knowledge of vessel and port capabilities – at least 5 years’ in-depth experience
Experience of working with Asia trades.
Excellent knowledge on drivers that influence Trade results.
Good analytical skills. Ability to grasp complex issues and understand the nature of the business and the competition.
Ability to build, develop and lead teams (mostly remotely) coupled with ability to influence and drive decision making of various teams without having administrative responsibility.
Able to make decisions under pressure
Able to direct a process driven environment and direct corrective action where required
Cross cultural understanding. Ability to function in a cross-cultural environment and be able to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization
Ability to influence project teams
A pragmatic and professional nature. Able to establish and meet deadlines and to establish clear priorities quickly. Organized and thorough; able to work effectively under pressure and handle a heavy workload.
