About H2 Green Steel
H2 Green Steel will produce green steel, reducing CO2 emissions with 95 percent compared to traditional steelmaking. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, we will produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel.

Senior Manager Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation
As Senior Manager Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) DRI you will be responsible for the technical supervision of mechanical design, technical drawings and documentation and safety aspects associated with the construction, project quality, maintenance, and improvement of DR plants. You will be responsible for coordinating between various construction companies, technology suppliers, PMO and other stakeholders. You will be required to guide the various stakeholders on construction sequencing in DRI Plants, to enable them to effectively deliver their assignments, acting as a discipline lead providing technical support for various projects and initiatives and working with other managerial staff to ensure project completion in an efficient manner. In order to be successful in this role we expect that you have prior experience of dealing with and following up on construction activities with international construction companies, conducting quality inspections of equipment installation and Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation as well as alignment checks and testing.
Responsibilities
· Support in engineering reviews of Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering
· Collaborate in developing and implementing diverse options of project schedules to work on optimum fastest project delivery.
· Carry on-site inspections and carry quality inspections at vendors workshops
· Track construction progress and suggest timely actions on foreseen delays, report on any delays in mobilization and construction
· Guide construction companies in sequencing of activities
· Create alignment on construction procedures, as well as on the deployment of workforce and equipment with various construction companies
· Plan and prepare look-ahead schedules weekly/monthly, plan resource requirements monthly, prepare smooth ramp up/down of resources; presenting project plans as needed to the management team
· Track construction cost, handle change orders for construction, review periodic invoices
Qualifications
· University degree in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering
· 12-15 years’ work experience
· Prior experience of working in Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation installations of Mega Module of Direct Reduction Plants is required
· Solid understanding of the best construction procedures for Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation installations and for sequencing the construction activities of DRI Plant.
· Extensive experience reviewing drawings and documents from technology companies, equipment suppliers and contractors for a Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) Plant and well acquainted with cold commissioning procedures of DRI Plants
· Experience of working on Auto CAD/3D modelling software
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others
· Exemplary self-leadership, multitasking and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English
· Track record of successful project achievements
