DIVISION
The Sr. Manager SDG IT, ERP – FICO role is a global technical module owner role for the designated process area of “Finance & Controlling” within the newly formed “ERP & Operations” group Business IT function. This role will lead the new developments and maintenance of the process area with responsibility for the strategic ERP systems of the Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG).
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT
The ERP strategy is based on a core of SAP S/4HANA 2020 with selected, integrated modules from SAP and other vendors and the team will heavily involve in merging and integrating historically disparate systems and processes to the strategic ERP’s. The work will be performed in partnership with Business Process owners, with other IT Module Owners, System Architects and our Corporate IT ERP Center of Excellence. The role is to ensure that the various implementations of divisions, countries and sites are performed within a templated structure, driving process harmonization, continuous improvement and efficiency in our work to extend the use of the strategic ERP model across the group. The module owner will work through the IT Business Analysts that are working within the process area. The role will be involved in the development and implementation of a group ERP IT system governance model, securing that business and IT roles come into place to deliver support, training, documentation, change and project management.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s /master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
5 years related experience leading IT/Digital teams, to include business leadership experience
5 years’ functional ERP experience, preferably within SAP (SAP S/4HANA an advantage), within the stated process area
Experience of at least two large-scale, transformational ERP projects
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to develop and execute on a system strategic plan and be a leader both within IT but also with business management staff
Solid understanding of information technology industry within the ERP space
WHAT YOU WILL DO
For the relevant modules/processes, take ongoing leadership for planning, development, delivery and coordination of ERP services and initiatives ensuring they are aligned to the business' strategic imperatives
Work multi-functionally with broader IT, and group / division management to ensure we optimize our resources and capabilities, and focus on the areas that matter most
Develop a deep understanding of business requirements and collaborate closely between IT & Digital to deliver value in every initiative / investment we make
Work with and support the business in building cases for the ERP investments needed
Manage a network of IT Business Analysts, active within the processes and modules in responsibility
Involvement in developing and implementing the SDG ERP Governance model
Take ownership of organisational change within process and module area
Provide status reporting for KPI’s on system management processes

Objectively and proactively analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of current and planned people and interpersonal capabilities and resolve appropriate solutions
Lead change and determine creative, efficient solutions for business challenges
Possess a detailed understanding of the long-term vision for all business areas supported, making decisions that support the company’s strategic priorities, and helping shape these priorities through influence
Build and evolve strategic partnerships and the ERP technology roadmap for continuously improving our capabilities and evolve toward digital transformations
Develop a network, for continuous improvement initiatives, as well as tracking current developments/challenges
Agree on KPIs to assess performance against goals
Partner with the team to recruit, develop and retain valued resources

Actively evaluate and develop people and interpersonal capabilities to set and implement a human resource strategy which accelerates business growth and drives value
