The process automation team is one function out of 6 within the department of IX – Shared Services IT. The function enables process automation platforms and services to rest of Scania globally.
About the role
Scania is looking for a Senior Manager for the area Process Automation. The position is new to Scania since we are focusing even more on AI and automations being value-adding for Scania business.
The process automation function is responsible for enabling process automation throughout the organization by proactively identify and lead key cross-functional initiatives, build and support solutions together with providing platforms, governance and strategic direction for automation.
Key responsibilities
IX Management: Steer and develop the department in collaboration with the management colleagues, contributing to the whole area of IX and IT.
Enablement: Develop the Process automation capability at Scania by providing the strategy and the services within the area.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive process automation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify key areas for automation and prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility.
Services & platforms: Provide services and technical platforms.
Solution delivery: Secure that the function deliver solutions to key projects and initiatives using industry-leading tools and technologies process analysis. Also supports other projects and initiatives around Scania.
Change Management: Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of automated processes. Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on the benefits and usage of automation tools. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives and make necessary adjustments as needed.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and priorities. Provide regular updates on automation projects and seek feedback to continuously improve processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in process automation. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation. Proactively seek feedback from end-users and stakeholders to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.

You have great leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives. You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to analyze complex processes and identify automation opportunities. Furthermore, you have:
Knowledge of process automation tools and technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Management (BPM),Chatbot, Process Mining (iBPMS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Change management experience, with the ability to drive organizational change and adoption of automation initiatives.
Proven experience in leading process automation initiatives, preferably in a managerial role.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
