Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Senior Manager Project Control to join our passionate team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery systems factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
We are looking for an experienced Controller to undertake all aspects of financial control, follow up and reporting for our expansive ESS program. You will work with the Business Controllers and coordinate the budget and forecasts preparation. The Financial Controllers responsibilities will also include certain elements of financial risk management.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and direct the preparation of project budget, financial forecasts and report variances
Cash flow analysis and cash flow forecasts
Ad hoc and cost-benefit analysis to support scenario planning and decision making
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting and consolidation
Additional controller duties as necessary and with a keen attention to detail.
Support all accounting operations including project controlling, Billing, A/R, A/P, GL - Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller and managing the reporting process
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, K3 and IFRS
Experience of project reporting and cost control is essential
Experience of group consolidations is an advantage
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish and Polish is a plus
Highly organized and result-driven
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Has a can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
