H2 Green Steel will produce green steel, reducing CO2 emissions with 95 percent compared to traditional steelmaking. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, we will produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden. Senior Manager Project Planning
As Senior Manger Project Planning you will be responsible for maintaining and integrating the project schedule for the DRI plant and other areas as required from time to time. You will also be responsible for alerting the management team to various critical delays in the projects, as well as guiding, coordinating and following up on resource and workforce planning with various construction companies, developing a methodology between contractors and admin teams for mobilization of manpower. In addition, you are to update management with weekly and monthly progress reports as needed. Previous experience from working with planning and document controlling in large construction projects and delivering large international CAPEX projects is highly meriting.
Responsibilities
· Support the design of suitable scheduling strategies in collaboration with the technology companies, EPCM’s, construction companies and procurement teams for project delivery
· Develop and implement various options of project schedules to work on optimum fastest project delivery
· Preparing facilities and resource planning for the project and aligning with construction companies on construction procedures and deploying manpower and equipment with various construction companies; establishing smooth ramp up/down of resources
· Work closely with the Technology, Commercial, Construction, Business Control, Supply Chain and Finance teams, in sharing insights and setting priorities and routines
Qualifications
· University degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
· 12-15 years’ work experience
· Prior experience of working in Mega Module of Direct Reduction Plants
· Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Skill Set
· Experience of working on MS Projects/Primavera is required
· Need to plan complete project planning and sequencing the construction activities for a Direct Reduction Iron plant (DRI)
· Prior experience of dealing and follow up delivery plans with international suppliers
· Understanding of best construction procedures for civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical works
· Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others
· Exemplary self-leadership, multitasking and organizational skills
· Track record of successful project achievements
