SENIOR MANAGER SOFTWARE TEST PLATFORM FOR COMPLETE VEHICLE TEST

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Our software test platform, consists both of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) test environments. It is part of the foundation for quality assuring Scania’s electrical system and at the same time contribute to remove waste in our verification chain for a faster delivery to customers. Our section “Test Platform and Complete Vehicle Integration Test” will be divided in two to ensure even more power to this strategic area of responsibility.

The section has the assignment to develop test platforms that will support an automated test environment that will be used from system test level through the chain of verification all the way to complete vehicle tests in both SIL and HIL environments. The HIL concept is built on a Scania solution named FlexHIL sharing the same framework and models as our SIL environment. Our SIL environment is also a Scania developed solution, based on the FMU standard.

We also see a need for using the same structures used for Micro Services also for the test community by offering the structures for sharing code, test cases, etc. in a more efficient way.

What You will do…
As a senior manager for test platform You are responsible for 3 groups and part of the department management team. You lead the operational work within the section through Your team of group managers and at the same time ensures that the challenging strategic targets are moved forward.

You are expected to contribute to the development of Your own organization and the department. You will also drive the strategy for our test platform and framework within Scania. You need to drive innovation and be open for new possibilities and thereby contribute to shorter lead times for our development loops.

• Have a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent
• Management experience in developing and maintaining systems in complex environments
• Feel highly motivated by the mission and challenges for this section
• Experienced manager and interested in software test platforms of complex software systems

• Good knowledge of English and Swedish is required, knowledge about Scania and Scania's methods and processes is meritorious.
