Senior Manager Working Capital Management

Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are strengthening our Group Treasury team with a Senior Manager Working Capital Management. You will be part of the Treasury function, which is centralized and responsible for operations such as external bank relationships, cash management, financial risk management and activities related to the financial net. Getinge Group has a great potential within the working capital area and the objective is to drive and follow up capital efficiency initiatives across our global organization. The position gives you the opportunity to join a small collaborative team where you will be able to take ownership for and establish new initiatives and also to contribute to making a difference in the organization. You will interface with a wide variety of internal stakeholders in order to set benchmarks, start initiatives and follow up on progress.
The position
In this position you will be responsible for driving working capital improvements across Getinge Group. The main goal of this position is to improve capital efficiency. You will be involved in active dialogues between the Group Treasury Function and different inter-company stakeholders nationally as well as globally.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
•Maintain and develop effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, ensuring focus on capital efficiency and profitability
•Initiate and drive efficient working capital management through proper forecasting of stocked inventory and reducing trade receivables volumes
•Evaluate current working capital policies and procedures; identify root causes that have resulted in current working capital position and develop recommendations to provide management to achieve identified working capital improvements
•Ensure compliance with client specific billing requirements
•Look for opportunities to improve billing and collection processes and implement best practice
•Improve financial lead times
•Responsible for financing initiatives such as supply chain financing and trade receivables financing
•Responsible for the working capital management part in board materials and other similar contexts
•Take part in Finance meetings where you will provide updates on the working capital position and agree any remedial action required
The position is based at Getinge Group headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. You are expected to maintain a high profile presence across the offices, which will require regular domestic and international travel (estimated to around 40-50%). The position will report to the Group Treasurer.
The ideal candidate
As an ideal candidate for this position you have an MBA in Finance or an MSc in Business and Engineering together with a proven background (approximately 5 years) within working capital management in practice.The person we are looking for is working in a similar position, preferably in a large corporate with local and group functions. You are used to interact with different stakeholders and to analyse performance and progress in a role that gives you a great amount of freedom and own responsibility. You have fluent English skills and knowledge of the Swedish language is beneficial. Proficiency in Spanish and French is a plus.
As a person you are a collaborative and self-motivated team-player who drives results and takes responsibility. You have an ability to communicate efficiently with a wide range of people. For this role it is important to have the power of positive questioning and to be able to challenge in a productive way. An analytical mind-set, a good sense of structure and a confident way of working are key factors in order to succeed in this role. Being used to working in a changing environment where you have the possibility to build something up and make a difference are also key factors.
