Job description
You will lead and execute the concepts for manufacturing processes within Injection Molding. You will take into consideration process set up, cycle time, equipment estimates as well optimizing costs. This includes goals such as
1. Support the Quoting process by providing technical cost related insights
2. Define technical specifications of what machinery/tools need to be bought
3. Support the kickstart of the production set-up
4. Handover the complete process ownership to the production sites
You are responsible for using the most appropriate and cost efficient solution/technology. We see that you are a team player since you work closely with our sales organization to secure professional technical input, in order to manage technical customer expectations and cost propositions.
You will be responsible for how Plasman Europe operates within injection molding. You must know concepts of: cycle time, make vs. buy decisions and be able to answer the question: how should we produce this new part/product in the best way possible and where? You needs to understand production & manufacturing processes and have an understanding what that means cost wise. You are a a great teacher and should like to be a mentor and teach their knowledge to others. Clear communication is another strength and you use this towards all stakeholders.
This position is based in Gothenburg but requires you to travel to our production units and suppliers (approx.25%).
Your Profile
You have the responsibility to lead and move projects forward in a professional manner. You have a genuine interest in the development of the industry and the ability to see the next step in our processes from a IM point of view.
· Technical University education or practical +10 years in engineering from the Automotive Industry
· Strong knowledge in injection molding tooling
· Demonstrated project management experience
· Leadership ability's to be able to convince – needs to build trust within the organization
· Excellent written and oral Swedish and English Skills
You are used to taking responsibility for your own work as well as lead and support your colleagues. You have strong problem-solving skills and are organized and structured in your work. We value that you are a good communicator with good social skills.
