Your opportunity
Klarna is looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager with experience in bringing a product to market, building brand awareness, and delivering on consumer growth. This role requires strategic thinking, business acumen, and leadership skills to quarterback the success of Klarna’s marketing expansion strategy. The role requires a deep understanding of Klarna’s brand & customer growth opportunities, market potentials, and the competitive landscape in the respective markets in order to develop a sharp competitive consumer positioning and consumer marketing strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Team within Market Expansion and other central marketing teams, to achieve and accelerate consumer growth, deepening Klarna’s global market footprint.
What you will do
Launch the Klarna brand in new markets and create the WOW effect
Help to develop Klarna’s consumer growth strategy for market expansion
Responsible for staffing and onboard local B2C Marketers to support consumer growth & brand awareness in markets
Support in localizing the global Marketing plan and specific initiatives to activate in new markets in close collaboration with the central domains and local marketing teams
Help the Marketing growth team(s) to design and develop marketing campaigns in the respective markets including (but not limited to) digital marketing, community management, events, email marketing, content, and ATL marketing to educate new users, retain existing users, drive customer value and enhance brand equity
Monitor, track, and report on growth KPIs such as growing the Klarna consumer network and increasing Share of Checkout
Be passionate about Klarna’s customer-first mindset and be ready to take on growth responsibility for Europe's largest bank in expansion markets

You should have
You have 10+ years of experience in a Marketing role from a tech company in a highly competitive market
You have experience in developing go-to-market strategies
You have experience in delivering disruptive, world-class brand communication for high profile (lifestyle) brands
You have a proven track record in increasing customer acquisition and retention while driving customer value and enhancing brand equity
You have a very strong creative, problem-solving and strategic thinking ability
You have exceptional critical thinking, analytical and quantitative skills
You come with an entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset
