Anocca has constructed and deployed a technology platform to analyse the T-cell immune system with great precision and depth in a standardised and industrialised manner. This platform underpins a range of advanced cancer therapy and prophylactic vaccine development. We are a motivated group of scientists numbering 45 people from over 20 countries and growing rapidly.


Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated Mass Spectronomy Specialist to join the team. You will be involved in a research project employing cutting edge technologies, and state of the art equipment. The Senior Mass Spectronomy Specialist role at Anocca is suited to motivated scientists with a keen interest in biotechnology and scientific method.


We imagine that you already have a few years of relevant high-quality experience – but we are more interested in finding the right person. You should have relevant life science laboratory experience and hold at least a MSc in biomedical sciences, or a PhD in a relevant discipline.


You must have excellent English communication skills, knowledge of relevant research techniques and ability to analyse and summarise data. You must be capable of working as part of a team but should also demonstrate initiative to drive projects forward.


What we are looking for
Minimum MSc in biomedical sciences or equivalent experience
Required significant and relevant laboratory experience in biochemistry, protein purification and chromatographic methods with a focus on FPLC
Track record of successfully designing and integrating mass spectrometry analyses within larger experimental designs
Desired specific experience in protein purification from multiple expression systems
Desired specific experience in analytical protein biochemistry
Goal orientated with a focus on proficiency and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills and ability to write documentation
Fluent written and spoken English



It would be nice if you have one or more of these
Experience from ISO validated, GLP, GCP or GMP working environments
