Then this position as Senior Material Engineer Printing Inks could be your next new job!

The position is located within Global Supply Chain Base Materials group. We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply chains (paperboard, polymers, aluminium foil and ink) around the world in cooperation with our suppliers, converting factories and development organisations.

In this role you will become a recognized printing ink expert across the Tetra Pak network, leading and supporting important stakeholders - both internal and external. Your base will be Lund, Sweden and you will travel about 40 days/year.


Main responsibilities

- Manage supplier performance through Common Agenda
- Lead scouting and qualification of ink suppliers, products and related technologies
- Drive capacity, quality and cost improvement projects, focusing on both internal and external manufacturing base
- Secure proper supplier involvement in development activities
- Ensure efficient project execution, managing stakeholders' expectations
- Enforce and maintain ink specifications


Qualifications

You are an open person who actively shares your knowledge with others. Building relations comes easy to you and you know how to balance listening with persuasion and helpfulness with firmness. You are analytical and organised which makes it easy for you to create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues. You are a clear communicator and excel at both spoken and written English.

Your academic background is a university degree in Chemistry, Material Science or similar. You have 5 + years experience within printing inks and coatings, and have solid supplier and project management skills. Manufacturing experience in converting and/or food packaging applications is a clear advantage.
