Senior mechanical design engineer

Qamcom is growing and we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in our projects.

As a mechanical engineer at Qamcom you will have a central role in our projects. You will have have full responsibility for the mechanical design, documentation and requirements. You work closely with our system designers and electronical designers. You will be designing the mechanics to meet the requirements and you will, together with our testers verifying that the products full fills them.

We have a mechanical workshop for building prototypes, climate chambers for verification and also good cooperation with different test houses for verification.

Baseline qualifications for this position:

- Experience in using Solid works

- Experience in modern PDM systems

- Design of Aluminum structures for electronics

- Experience in design of different connector solutions

- Design of cooling structures for electronics

- Highly experienced in discussions with both suppliers and manufactures of mechanics.

- Minimum 6 years of experience from Mechanical engineering or a PhD within a suitable field

- Fluency in English and a Swedish work permit are required. Working proficiency in Swedish is highly desirable.

Meriting qualifications for this position:

- Design of composite structures

- CFD simulations of heat transfer

- FEM simulations for strength analysis

- Fluent in Swedish both spoken and written
