Sigma Connectivity is an internationally recognized technology design house that provides customers with everything they need to bring their new products to life. Due to growing demand for our MedTech expertise, we are continuing to expand our mechanical design and testing capabilities with several new openings for experienced mechanical design engineers in Lund and Malmö.
Requirements
We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers with a good understanding of hardware development as it relates to MedTech products. If you have expertise designing hardware—ideally for MedTech applications—and have the ability understand and interpret customer needs to transform them into manufacturable designs, we would like to hear from you!
We're ideally looking for the following qualifications:
3+ years of Mechanical design and CAD experience.
Experience working with ISO 13485 standards for Medical Devices.
Understanding of the importance of good documentation and a document control.
Experience with the product development process, from brain-storming concepts to sourcing components to manufacturing and delivering real products
Confidence and the ability to communicate complex things in a simple way.

Comfortable interacting with customers
Passion for people and the planet
Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience
Experience working with eCAD, wireless and “smart” connected products
Experience working with small products; ideally small plastic design & development
Understanding of how to write test specifications from project requirements
Knowledge of relevant standards in your the area of expertise
