About the position
We want you to design or re-design current test facilities or test rigs.
Innovate a concept
3D model the objects
Make drawings
Lead the discussion and agreements with workshop, support in the manufacturing
Support in the installation
Follow up
It will be sometimes be necessary to perform measurements on current equipment yourself to get necessary input to design
Design can involve
steel or aluminum design
hydraulic actuation
electrical actuation and or motors, fans, pumps
linear actuation etc
Desired qualifications and experience
We believe that you have an B.Sc., M.Sc. in mechanical engineering or similar relevant proven technical experience
Experience from working hands on with local workshop is a merit
Creo is a merit but similar CAD system is OK
good relationship with mechanics and workshop, finding common ground
good knowledge in different manufacturing techniques such as water cutting sheet metal etc,
load and fatigue knowledge, basic FEM,
skill to design for assembly and manufacturing, with local resources in mind, in extent also know when a design requires to be complex and manufactured by external company
We require that you have working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
