Senior Mechanical Designer

Are you an experienced Mechanical designer and want to work in an international environment with material production equipment in global projects?Then you might be the person we are looking for!

The Engineering group within Packaging material supports the development and improvement projects with mechanical design, automation, technical publications and equipment safety in all converting technology areas (printing, lamination, finishing).We are also global owner of the converting specifications related to tools, methods and standards for converting equipment design.We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer.You will work in partnership with factories, suppliers, specialist, and consultants.

As a Mechanical Designer some of your tasks will be:

- Drive design and implementation of mechanical engineering activities
- Drive and support Product life cycle projects with design, validate and deployment of new solutions
- Work with external partners to find equipment concepts
- Specification of mechanical equipment
- Co-ordinate design activities in the projects
- Co-ordination of mechanical design made by consultants or sub-suppliers
- Support both internally and suppliers with our standards and - working methods

There will be some amount of travelling in the position, approx 25-50 days per year.


Kvalifikationer

The successful candidate works in a structured and analytic way.You like working in a coordinating role but also hands on with the machine.

You have an extensive experience from mechanical engineering and designing machines.You have knowledge of manufacturing techniques and a very good command of English, both written and spoken.
