Purpose:
You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and our customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.
Work description:
You will be part of our mechanical department and work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution, commissioning and start up. We offer a stimulating work environment with varying tasks. And as many of the projects are executed at our clients’ sites locally, there is constant feedback between design, execution and operation.
Among other tasks, you will:
Be a part of a multi-discipline team where you will be responsible for determining technical requirements and equipment type selection.
Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley's and our customers' specifications as well as applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
Develop technical requisitions, evaluate supplier quotations, and review drawings and other technical documentation.
Participate in negotiations with suppliers.
Provide input to cost estimations and participate in scheduling for assigned projects.
Participate in supervision of mechanical construction works during the execution phase.
Act as Lead for the mechanical discipline (1-3 engineers) in larger projects.
Coordinate with resources from other Worley offices, both within and outside of Europe.
If required, assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team.
Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer as well as suppliers.
Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance when required.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical/Process/Energy engineering or similar.
Substantial technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry (5-10 years).
Competence in relevant software such as MS-Office. AutoCAD and 3D modelling software are an advantage.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge in Swedish is an advantage
