At Valtech Radon, the Media Team don't work as a media agency. We want our clients to spend less, not more. We develop systems, tools and processes that are unique to each client's setup that help our clients move smarter, faster, better.
We’re in need of a Senior Media Specialist to take some of our global accounts to new heights - leading a team executing media buying on a level of granularity you've probably never ever encountered. We desire analytical minds, strategic thinkers and lovers of attention-to-detail.
Your role is to bring your keen understanding of digital media channels, community and conversations into everything you do and that you have an excellent grasp of the media landscape - from OOH to CRM and everything in between - to drive these conversations.
You need to know your stuff. You need to ensure that there is a consistent level of quality in the output of your projects. You need to think creatively, strategically and have a genuine willingness to knuckle-down when things get crazy. An analytical mind, strategic thinking and absolute attention-to-detail are essential.
What you'll be doing:
Being a media expert internally at Valtech Radon and externally for clients. This includes ensuring that the education and presentation of our media offering is comprehensive and highly relevant
Working on a strategic level, hand in hand with clients to maximize their media investment in volume and performance
Spending time finding opportunities for clients to create best-in-class digital experiences for their customers by staying ahead of platform updates and developments
Understanding the opportunities (and constraints) of the media landscape and guiding other colleagues to bridge the divide between content and conversion
Taking the lead on carrying out strategic, insight-driven projects and overseeing their implementation with the support of your team
Overseeing a team of specialists that are hands-on with campaigns - but stepping in when you need to to get things moving
Analysis, reporting and presentation of campaign insights to clients
Cooperating with project managers, planners, strategists and creatives to ensure activation thinking exists in all creative and strategic work
Actively auditing and improving processes on how we strategise, plan, execute, manage and optimise media activations to improve margins for us and add value to our clients
Contributing to the mentorship and coaching of specialist team members and interns in the Media Team
Who you are:
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
You have experience working with large marketing budgets
You have experience in (and a genuine thirst for) digital
You can transform performance data into beautifully written, clear and detailed strategic analyses
You are a mastermind at keynote presentations
You have significant experience working with complex spreadsheets as well as analytics and data visualisation tools
