.Net developer to Scania Assistance team
Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck and bus manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. Battery electric drivetrains, autonomous driving, 5G and IoT technologies are disrupting our industry and we rise to the challenge. We are looking for an experienced .Net developer to join us in building and supporting one of Scania’s most important systems for Scania Assistance.
Join our innovative software development team as a Senior .NET Developer!
We're looking for an experienced professional with at least 5 years of .NET development experience and a strong background in AWS cloud services.
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software.
You will have the possibility to work within the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. With focus on business continuity we are moving towards cloud (AWS) with a CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) focus. You will work on continuous system improvements in order to streamline processes and assist users' needs.

Your role
• Building new features and integrations within both .NET onboarding applications, as well as maintenance and support of existing components
• Working agile in a team to deliver high-quality technical solutions and architecture
• Work across our entire tech stack, collaborating on cloud-, mobile- and web solutions
• Be a technical go-to person and collaborate across teams to align on architecture and cross-cutting matters
• Analyse and implement integrations within existing internal applications and tools
Your skills
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Bonus: experience with CICD, DevOps, and unit testing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Good understanding of clean code principles
• Experience in microservices or serverless architectures (knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes) will be an asset
• Experience in writing effective unit and integration tests
• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Understanding of common Linux or Windows development tools, such as GIT, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualization.
It's a real plus if you
Have experience with developing and hosting SaaS solutions on AWS, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab) and previous experience in taking architectural responsibilities in projects.
