Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
Globalisation, digitalisation and mobility are examples of trends that are affecting our business environment. The work environment at Scania’s IT department is international and our employees represent many different nationalities and countries.
We are a team of around 20 people, developing, maintaining and supporting Scania’s Service Contracts management operations globally. Our way of working is agile and we are aiming for self-organizing teams with focus on high quality in our deliveries. Our current monolithic Contract Administration system needs to be replaced during the next couple of years and we have recently started this journey.
We are now looking for a Senior .Net developer to Scania Contracted Services.
Your Responsibility:
In this role, you need to have an agile mindset and a good understanding of Contracted Services process, Contracted Services systems and related Business needs.
Your main responsibility is to develop and maintain solutions for both existing monolithic Contract Administration system, as well as develop new applications in AWS environment.
You will work close with other developers in the team, and often mob programming to develop efficient and sustainable solutions in a fun way.
Together with the team and product owners you will have full responsibility of system development.
Your Profile:
We think you are a Senior .Net developer with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. We also think you have several years of proven experience in the field.
We expect applicants to be curious and have excellent problem-solving skills.. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good cooperation skills. You are a team player, but you can also work independently. As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
