Right now, we’re building a new team responsible for IT Delivery and Cyber security operations for SRP. Our mission is to make sure that Sandvik can operate safely and stay ahead within IT and cyber security. There are significant projects on Sandvik group level that are running cyber security improvement programs – therefore, we’re now extending our team with three Senior Digital Delivery Specialists that can establish processes and drive the work forward – ensuring delivery in local IT organizations within Sandvik worldwide. Your mission
Each of the three new roles are assigned to focus on a particular mission. In this specific position, you hold responsibility for the operational and strategical work regarding, Network and security concerning network. This means that you take lead on planning, building, and maintenance of a secure, robust, scalable, and compliant Network infrastructure in SRP globally. You’re given the possibility to take ownership and be part of creating an IT organization for a new business area from scratch. We give you the freedom and mandate to be innovative and build up your network in an international environment, collaboratively with your team.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Driving M&A activities regarding Due Diligence and Integration from a security compliance perspective
Facilitating IT delivery activities in terms of digital Security operation and maintenance of infrastructure
Overseeing processes and techniques for the area, focusing on Digital Security, IT Risk Analysis, IT Continuity, and IT Lifecycle Management
Assessing Infrastructure demands and authorized IT projects and enhancements of specific applications/infrastructure
Secure and make agreements across all other SRP IT areas on solutions
Setting up Monitoring, tools, controls, measurements, and reporting; ensuring Sandvik policies.
Proactively monitor and follow-up on IT Delivery precision Being responsible for reporting and analysis of local incidents and issues
In this position you report to Head of IT Service Delivery SRP seated in Malmö, Sweden. Although the right candidate can work flexible from anywhere in Scandinavia. Travel is included in the role.
Your character
For this role we’re looking for a senior person with a minimum of five years of work experience. Probably you’ve been working hands-on as a specialist and are now ready to also act on a strategic level. You hold a university degree within a relevant field, and we expect you to have IT and security skills from any industry, of course we provide training on the needs of our business and the relevant processes. Since you’re working with many global stakeholders, excellent verbal and written English skills is required.

You have excellent communication skills and enjoy spreading positivity around your colleagues and other stakeholders. Showing the ability to steer the way in the right direction, you quickly get people onto your team. Being a true team player you genuinely prefer the benefit of collaborations, although you have no problems working independently. Demonstrating an open mind and readiness for change and innovation, you work proactively – always with quality and security in mind!
