Senior Operations Manager Logistics– ASIA & EMEA

The Senior Operations Manager is expected to lead & manage logistics and fulfillment center operations in Asia and Europe.


Essential Responsibilities :
This person will be directly responsible for managing a Cross regional team & owning the business metrics associated with Logistics and fulfilment operations. This person should be a strong leader with an analytical mind and excellent interpersonal communication skills.


Build a world class organization, with enhanced capability to manage all aspects of our logistics network from our mfg./suppliers to our warehouse centers to our customers
Design optimal organization structure to support the successful execution of logistics across the business portfolios
Develop a strong relationship with business and cross functional operations teams to partner in driving key logistics and business metrics
Aligns closely and strategically with cross functional teams & cross regional teams to improve quality, drive deflation and reduce logistics risk
Trains and mentors the team: Operations Leader must know and understand the operational processes in the fulfilment centers 
Drive 100% compliance with relevant policies, procedures and export control regulations
Develops and implements plans to ensure successful fulfilment of customer orders on-time.
Implement continuous improvement activities in all areas of responsibility, with a focus on improving processes to help the logistics team focus more on value add items and improve operating performance
Provides proactive and responsive employee relations for employees and work with HR teams to provide appropriate technical and leadership training and career development
Prepare and present executive presentations to business & functional leadership teams
Superior analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of data into key messages & actions
Drive continuous productivity & compliance improvements and create a best practice sharing platform.




Qualifications/Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college and/or equivalent knowledge or experience 
Major progressive leadership experience
Progressive leadership experience in logistics or


Desired Characteristics :
Strong leadership skills and proven track record of building successful teams to high levels of performance  
Excellent understanding of Incoterms
Working knowledge of commercial contracts
Proven track record of collaborating across a global matrix of senior leaders 
Strong knowledge of international logistics procedures, practices and norms
Strong oral and written communication skills 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
Ability to coordinate and lead in a global matrix environment
Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily 
Excellent interpersonal skills
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified
