Our digital investigators are dealing with sensitive cases of criminal offences and policy violations both as external and internal threats. Are you eagerly interested and further relentless in investigating and uncovering the truth in the converging physical and digital reality? The Cyber Threat Management unit at Nordea is now looking for an experienced professional to be a co-driver in supporting our mission to protect the bank.
At Nordea, we’re committed to being a partner our customers and society can count on. Compliance and integrity go hand in hand. Joining us means you’ll have an impact on how we do banking – today and tomorrow. So bring your ideas, skills and unique background. With us, you’ll be in good company with plenty of opportunities to collaborate, grow and make your mark on something bigger.
About this opportunity
Cyber Threat Management is the 3rd level expertise unit of Nordea Cyber Defence Centre, with special focus on threat attribution and investigation of internal and external threats. We are a trusted partner supporting Nordea holistically as well as collaborating externally in fighting cyber threats. Our broad technical expertize paired with niche competences in the areas of Investigations, Intelligence and Data Analysis make us a unique and resourceful partner.
Your role will be to take the lead in OSINT activities within Cyber Threat Management and contribute to addressing cyber security matters in general, as well as compliance threats and risks. You will need to work closely with stakeholders, including other business areas in the bank and must be able to quickly learn about specific compliance and business risks.
What you’ll be doing:
* Act as our dedicated OSINT SME, supporting digital investigations and intelligence activities.
* Developing our operational presence on the internet as well as governance around the topic.
* Managing and enhancing the software solutions in our segregated working environment, which has its own datacenter.
* Contributing to other areas of Cyber Security and the bank in general.
You’ll join a unit spread across the Nordics and Poland which consists of highly technical and otherwise broadly experienced professionals. The role is based in either Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo or Stockholm.
Who you are
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us in being at our best – and that we imagine you share with us.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are:
* Open and easy-going, yet with a natural respect towards privacy and confidentiality.
* Curious with a strong sense of right and wrong but always objective, unbiased and ethical.
* Self-driven but not a stranger to teamplay.
* Comfortable in a sometimes stressful and priority driven environment.
Your experience and background:
* Expert knowledge and demonstrated experience as an OSINT specialist/analyst or in a similar role.
* Strong technical understanding of networking, services and operating systems.
* Solid problem solving-, analytical- and reporting skills.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and in a manner that is targeted to and meets the needs of diverse audiences, including senior management.
* It’s an extra plus if you have special proficiency in one or more of the areas of: scripting, ML/AI, big data analysis and data visualization, or have previous experience of the financial sector.
You likely have a relevant university degree and/or certifications, however to excel in this position you should have a keen interest in your area and be a problem solver and critical thinker who is able to see the wider context of things.
In Nordea the working language is English. You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail.
