To further grow and strengthening our team, we are now looking for a
Senior OT/IT Security Engineer
for Infrastructure in Digital Manufacturing
What you can expect in this role
You will be the trusted advisor that brings application security engineering and advisory services to SKF Manufacturing globally. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that we organize, design, and implement security practices, processes, and technologies. This will mitigate risks arising from the use, process, storage, and transmission of information used in industrial/OT environments – from a people, process and technology perspective. The primary goal of this role will be to improve cyber security posture of IT and OT infrastructure and IoT devices across SKF Infrastructure. Furthermore, you will:
• Lead activities related to security assessments of the infrastructure in the plants and organize all activities that lead to building a solid understanding of where the threat is, as well as recommend and implement ways to mitigate it
• Perform security architecture and low-level security design review, involving data protection, end-point security, authentication and authorizations and network security
• Develop and optimize processes to improve OT infrastructure security as well as develop and maintain OT infrastructure and IoT device architecture standards
• Monitor and stay up to date with security-related proven practices and technology, and help build secure products and standards around emerging technologies
What we are looking for
For this job you need to have a genuine interest in technology, in combination with having knowledge of IT and OT operations in a manufacturing environment. Importantly, you should also have experience of reviewing cyber security policies, control implementation, mitigation strategies, or cyber security threat analysis.
In addition, we need you to have:
• MSc in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics/Engineering or similar, with ample experience of hands-on implementation of current and emerging IT/OT systems technologies, architectures, and products
• Professional experience from working with information security, IT/OT cyber security related to the industry’s security best practice and IT/digital transformation projects in an international environment
• Experience in a wide range of information security technologies, embedded security, and infrastructure platforms, as well as exposure to industrial network ports and protocols
• Experience in deployment of security controls in endpoints, industrial networks, including network zoning, segmentation and isolation designs and implementation
As you will contribute as a leading member of global, distributed teams focusing on delivering quality services and solutions for the global SKF Manufacturing footprint, you need to have solid interpersonal skills with fluency in English. We also expect you to have established analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
Once onboard, your home will be the Future Factory team. Our mission is to transform and equip the SKF Group Manufacturing footprint with digital solutions, skills, and knowledge to strengthen World Class Manufacturing for competitive advantage.
You will enjoy working here if you are enthusiastic about technology, a resourceful problem solver, good at networking and collaboration. We are looking for someone who wants to motivate continuous change that leads to improvements in the way we do business, and who can both grasp technical details as well as think strategically around technology-based business transformation.
