About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Patent Professional to develop effective intellectual property assets collecting Ericsson innovations and technologies. This includes extracting and identifying patentable inventions, assessing business, technical and legal merits and procuring legitimate patent protections in various jurisdictions in accordance with Ericsson's overall strategies and guidelines. Such scope may include acquiring and evaluating invention disclosures, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, handling own or Ericsson-wide sub-portfolios, formulating licensing packages and asserting patents or patent portfolios against potential licensees as well as contacting potential licensees and negotiating and executing relevant license agreements to provide business benefit to Ericsson. You will use patent docketing and management tools, monitoring tools, and process and report flaws. You will collaborate with inventors and engineers, RIPL employees, outside counsels, and R&D Management.

Maintain the Patent Docket
Participate in Portfolio Management & Claim Charting
Draft and prosecute patent applications
Participate in oppositions and invalidations
Assert Patents
Support Licensing & Litigation
Secure patent quality


You will bring
A Master or PhD degree in a relevant technical area such as electronic engineering, telecommunications, applied physics, computer science, and ICT
Being a fully qualified European Patent Attorney
Patent Process Knowledge
