We are a team of 20 PX Partners supporting the global R&D function at Volvo Cars. Together with our business, we handle the most precious resource for the success of the company – our talents. Our mission is to attract, recruit, develop, engage and retain the talents that build the future for Volvo Cars. As a Senior People Experience Partner, you will support one of our units in R&D based at our site in Gothenburg, Sweden. Much of the work will also be focused on driving a number of key strategic projects and initiatives. You will report to the Head of People Experience for Research & Development.
What you will do

• In the position as Senior PX Partner with us, you will be a member of the leadership team(s), driving change and new ways of working within your business group, as well as your PX home base.
• Focus on PX strategic activities influencing the business agenda and identify organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy. Examples of this could be identifying organizational efficiencies, organizational design, competence transfers, etc.
• Co-design, lead and facilitate key PX project delivery in line with defined People Plan priorities.
• Responsibilities include facilitation of processes and dialogues on topics such as employee engagement, retention, career and succession enablement, performance management, and competence development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across units including central PX teams to ensure a great customer experience, through accuracy and pace of delivery.
• Deliver sound generalist PX support, acting as a key point-of-contact and a trusted partner for the provision of professional advice and support to a range of PX activities and programs.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a university degree in HR or other equivalent areas with several years of relevant work experience “on the line”, including practical experience providing HR advice to colleagues and senior leaders. To have subject matter expertise in several of the following disciplines (recruitment, performance management, compensation & rewards, labor affairs, competence development, and organizational change etc.) would be beneficial.
As a person, you have a can-do attitude with a strong sense of urgency and delivery. You are recognized as a trusted advisor with high integrity and interpersonal savviness who excels at collaborating and building relationships across functions and boundaries. You are an analytical thinker, who enjoys making the best sense of the available data while you’re open to learning new tools and you know how to visualize your key findings for your colleagues and client groups. Furthermore, you are a “self-starter”, being able to deliver on your own initiative and prioritize independently, with a hunger for personal learning and self-driven development. Lastly, you are skilled when it comes to using all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
