Job Description
Are you passionate about designing people experiences and leveraging technology? Then read on!
We are looking for a Sr. People Onboarding Specialist who's an expert in employee experience design and HR, and a jack-of-all-trades in project management, UX and data. The core purpose of this role is to enable all new employees to have high engagement, quick learning curves, and short time-to-productivity. By designing outstanding onboarding processes and enabling their delivery, you'll support managers to deliver great business results by being able to unlock their new hires' full potential.
Your scope of responsibility would include:
Leading the development of the pre-boarding and onboarding processes in a phased approach, for different employee personas, across business units and regions, using design thinking and UX principles.
Research, map and document existing processes and ways of working, benchmark best practices from competitors and broader market leaders.
Plan and design co-creation workshops, develop, launch and iterate MVPs, build, own and drive strategic roadmaps and implementation plans.
Partner with different parts of HR and Tech to ensure high-quality development and delivery of the pre-boarding and onboarding processes worldwide (eg: HRSS, HRIS, L&D, Employer Branding, Talent Management, etc.).
Track and report data, provide insights analysis onto process performance across parts of the business, and continuously iterate and improve the processes as needed.
Plan and coordinate onboarding events across regions, physically and digitally.
Qualifications
This role is a perfect fit for you if you have strong experience in:
Managing HR Processes in a large, global and decentralized organization, ideally Onboarding. Bonus if you know Visio, or equivalent, for processes design. Extra bonus if you are familiar working with Tech folks to plan and deploy system and tooling solutions.
Stellar Project Management and solid Product Management skills.
Agile. It is your bread and butter. You dream in sprints, roadmaps are your bible, and managing backlogs is second nature. You live your life through iterations and MVPs.
Intermediate UX Research and Design. Although you aren't necessarily a UX professional, you feel confident with quali and quanti research, surveys, design thinking, user stories, customer personas, value proposition canvas, empathy maps, journey mapping, and so on.
Intermediate Data Analytics. You know your way around Excel quite well, can put together a pivot table, and easily navigate (and design) any dashboard to interpret graphs. You can find the insights hidden in the stories told by data.
Human psychology and what makes people tick at work.
Events planning and/or facilitation is something you've done before, or otherwise makes you curious.
Perhaps you have some kind of education in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, UX Design and/or Product Management, or otherwise you've taught yourself about these fields in any way that works for you.
You finished reading that list and it felt like a lot? Don't see yourself as the perfect fit we described? That's perfectly ok, no one and nothing is perfect! If you have strong experience in at least some of those skills and feel you'd be a great fit, then don't hesitate to apply anyway! We'd really like to hear from you.
