Your Profile
Education:
· Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
· Ph.D. in physics or computer science is beneficial
Required Skill Set:
· Advanced SW background with excellent programming skills in C++ and/or Rust
· Profound knowledge of optical elements like lenses, lasers, mirrors, vision sensors and scanners
· Strong emphasis on algorithm development, parallel computation and efficiency
· Proven Embedded SW development skills and knowledge
· Experienced in computational problem solving and data exploration
· Skilled in signal acquisition and computer vision methods
· Motivated by finding new problems to solve and better ways to solve them.
· Fluent in English
Beneficial Competences:
· Programming experience in Python
· GPU programming experience (e.g., CUDA)
· Basic experience with OpenCV
· Proficient in Linux (Ubuntu)
Your responsibilities:
· Designed, implemented, and test advanced algorithms for calibration of computer vision systems
· Solve complex computational problems and explore data compression and efficiency
· Improve existing software algorithms to better take advantage of accelerated and parallelized embedded hardware platforms
· Optimized existing C++ code to reduce latency and improve processing performance
