GIS (Global Information Services), the IT department of Husqvarna, is responsible for the delivery of IT-services throughout the group.
 
Husqvarna GIS is now searching for a Solution Architect within the area of Product lifecycle management (PLM).

About the job
You will be part of an GIS business engagement function, who has an global accountability for end-to-end IT deliveries within Product Management & Development (R&D).
The team strives to deliver high quality and value to our internal business partners, as well continuously improving our services.
One high focus area for the team is to be part of an exciting journey to transform our PLM IT landscape to align towards future digital capabilities and strategies.
 
In the role as Sr. Solution Architect PLM you will lead the solution architectural PLM domain, working both with current and next generation PLM.
 
Your main tasks will be:
Overall responsible for the architectural design area(PLM) of projects and solutions to address the business requirements.
Examine functional and technical specifications and translate them into system design / guidelines and work in close cooperation with business stakeholders to design solutions, contribute in projects and review activities
Gathering, structuring and analyzing information about competitive landscape and trends within PLM area
Collaborate with the global IT organization and partners to ensure compliance with defined architectural standards, security principles etc. Secure adherence to defines standards and procedures
Work as a trusted advisor and contribute to the development of a target system landscape, implementation roadmaps and work to resolve issues that arise during the development and solution life cycle.

 
The role also requires you to work proactively to provide architectural and solution guidance for our various business stakeholders.
 
This position places high demands on a business holistic approach and a great ability to formulate, initiate, operate and follow up on various initiatives.

To succeed in this role it is of importance that you have:


Experience from working in large scale PLM programs with IT architecture and design
We place great emphasis on you being communicative, pedagogical and outgoing with great ability to build networks and create good relationships
You are able to take an holistic view on IT and business with the ability to see needs from a short-and long-term perspective.
Hands-on experience in working with various modules of PLM application, from development to release.
Strong personal and technical leadership

 
Relevant Background


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.


5 years of direct experience working with various global PLM solutions, within an global IT delivery perspective


You have a background in working within global enterprises.


English and Swedish both written and orally is required for the position.
