Senior Process Engineer:
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to strengthen our Pulp Technology Team.

Pulp Competence Centre is an expert unit supporting company with services including R&D, operational improvement and technical support. Pulp Technology Team is a senior expert group developing Company assets and products for the future. Development requires innovativeness and progressive solutions, devised with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to strengthen our Pulp Technology Team. We consider tailoring the position responsibilities to best fulfil our needs and applicant’s experience and ambitions.
You will be responsible for executing and leading, demanding development projects, in the field of chemical pulp mills and development of bio-refinery concepts. You will contribute to the team with in-depth technical knowledge and scientific understanding. You will have the full responsibility to manage your projects to fulfil and deliver on agreed targets within agreed budget frames, timelines and scope definitions.
Qualifications
- Relevant university education, i.e. academic degree in science or engineering
- Deep understanding of chemical pulping and biomass fractionation processes
- Strong project management skills,
- Plant design and simulation capabilities,
- Understanding of investment principles and process,
- Group working skills
- Good communication and networking abilities - good networks in pulp and/or chemical industry
The location can be either Imatra, Finland or Karlstad, Sweden.
