Are you a talented Process Engineer thinking about taking the next step up in your career?We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you.Metso Minerals in Sala is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer who will be responsible for developing, discussing and optimizing the process design of concentrator plants.
In this role, you will follow the project from initial process design stage throughout the project execution and commissioning of the plant.You will be involved in the process design work of concentrator plants which will span over several projects simultaneously such as preparation/development of process flow sheets, mass balances, metallurgical balances and basic P&ID's.You will also manage design changes throughout the project execution, keeping the project management and other relevant people informed about changes that can affect the project budget, other disciplines and areas of the plant.
You will assist with setting up the test procedures for a new ore when required and from time to time participate in lab- and/or pilot- scale test work and evaluate the results, mainly in a supervisory role.You will also give market and sales support, meet customers, discuss and when needed recommend process solutions.Domestic and international travel will be required.
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in engineering and a solid background as a process engineer, with experience from the mining/mineral processing industry.You will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and a co-operative approach with clients, suppliers and colleagues.It is also important that you are pro-active and result oriented while always maintaining high ethical standards.
