Are you a production/process engineer who wants to take the next step in your career? What we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to our headquarter in Sundbyberg. You will be part of the Operations & Quality Team and the department responsible of Quality and Cost of our product. The production is fully outsourced, which will give you the opportunity to work with international sub-suppliers. You will lead the industrialization of new products as part of the New Product Development Team and work closely to our suppliers and ensure that the delivery is in line with Profoto expectations.
Key responsibilities
As the leading brand on our market, Profoto always strives to deliver world-class quality as it is central to our brand promise. You will be fully responsible for and work with both operational and strategic activities. Other responsibilities:
- Lead the industrialization of the new products all the way from product idea to volume production
- Secure COGS and Quality of the products in production
This will be reached by:
- Leading internal and external project resources as well as our European and Asian partners resources to ensure Profoto’s process is followed
- Secure and lead the implementation of the Engineering Change Order in production
- Perform regular process audits at the supplier facilities
- Contribute to the improvement of the industrialization & engineering change order processes
- Support KPI development, follow-up and reporting on cost, yield and production capacity
- Lead/participate in Product Claim analysis before potential re-engineering of existing products Lead/participate in Root Cause Analysis activities for the chosen identified failure.
Requirements
We expect that you have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methods, as well as
- 3-5 years relevant experience within a manufacturing/development organization, preferably including some electronics and mechanics assembly.
- Experienced in project management, stakeholder management and communication
- Proven previous experience within production engineering management
- Documented knowledge of manufacturing and/or quality management
- Experienced in practical problem solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, A3…)
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement frameworks
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Relevant Master of Science degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel: 30-50 days/year
