JM Formox belongs to the division Efficient Natural Resources and we are the world leader in formaldehyde technology. We develop and manufacture catalysts, supply complete plants and provide technical support to customers worldwide.
About the role
As a process engineer with simulation expertise, you will play a key role in our Formaldehyde simulation development projects with collaboration and support from our specialists in UK as well as other process development projects for future plants.
You might also work with Formaldehyde plant projects, with the overall responsibility of the technical functionality, from order to delivery and start-up of the plants. This include process engineering, customer training, problem solving and commissioning. Feasibility studies for existing customers and upgrades could also be part of the job.
Key responsibilities
. Drive our simulation development projects
. Responsible for the Absorber model and absorber simulation tool
. Continue the work with the reactor model and kinetic reactor model
. Manage and develop process engineering tools and standard calculation tools
Are you the ideal candidate?
To be the perfect match, we think you have a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, you have a strong drive for results and work in a structured and organized way and you are a good team player but can also work independently.
You should also have knowledge in the following:
. Process engineering and design
. Mathematical modeling
. Programing languages such as Fortran, Python, VBA or Matlab
. Simulation software such as Aspen or PROII
. Distillation or absorption theories and mass transports
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
The following competences are seen as a merit:
. Database and physicochemical properties
. Thermodynamics
. Data analysis
