Senior Producer

About the job

Arrowhead is now looking for a Senior Producer to further expand and bolster our growing production team. As a senior producer, you will be responsible for distributing, coordinating and leading production as well as driving communication across the production department and our project.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity where you’ll play a key role in the future of our company. You’ll be an effective problem solver and collaborator as well as a transparent communicator. You will work closely with all team members to lead the execution of the product vision. You and the team of Producers drive the development teams towards their production goals, manage various risks to the project and determine resource requirements. This includes making sure the project is on-time, on-budget and on-spec.

Your contribution

- Process management - Drive and optimize iterative processes that enable quality (measured by player testing) and timely release
- Create a development process that allows team leads to break the game vision into deliverables and identify key development goals



- Leadership - Take responsibility, in collaboration with direction, for the success and well-being of the team and build a sustainable work environment
- Lead and mentor a team of producers, foster and developing a healthy and effective team dynamic
- Contribute to staffing plans and support hands-on recruitment processes
- Drive collaboration and agile learning rituals within the team and studio



- Production management - Track the resources and milestone schedule. Together with the producers, continuously maintain the development plans and feature lists for multi-discipline teams and adapt it around unexpected changes
- Identify, articulate and resolve conflicts between schedule, dependencies, risk, budget and project scope
- Build, optimize and manage development pipelines. Assess and improve the capacity and velocity of the studio
- Proactively collaborate and communicate with publishers and other external parties





Our requirements

- 5 years experience from production within game development
- Knowledge of SCRUM and agile methodologies
- Effective and efficient communicator
- Passion for leading and guiding others
- Self-directing when taking initiatives but collaborative in the execution of them
- Able to prioritize and make decisions effectively

- Proactive collaborator
- Proven success in working with multiple stakeholders of different seniority levels and crafts to effectively coordinate deliverables


Bonus

- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
- Experience working with technical role
- Experience working with AAA projects


Practical information

Schedule: Ability/willingness to shift hours in accordance with publishers schedule

Travel: Willingness to travel for work, if required
